Central Texas LGHN is committed to empowering Hispanic and Latino professionals in local government and local government employees working in communities with significant Hispanic/Latino populations by providing mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. Our mission is to support professionals at all levels of public service while embracing the cultural strengths that shape our communities. Through events like this conference, we aim to amplify voices, share best practices, and create a platform for meaningful change in the region.
The 2026 Annual Central Texas LGHN Conference will bring together over 200 individuals from local government, non-profit, and civic sectors through workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, creating a platform for knowledge-sharing, skill-building, and collaboration to address key community challenges.
This year’s theme, “The Power of Us: Leveraging Nuestra Cultura for Collective Growth,” highlights our regional connectedness and shared cultural identity. The conference brings together community leaders and professionals to explore leadership, cultural awareness, and strategic decision-making while advancing Latino leadership and collective progress.
