The cities of San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos and Seguin have joined to form the Central Texas Chapter (CTX) of the Local Government Hispanic Network (LGHN). As a new chapter of LGHN, members will benefit from national resources and development opportunities offered through the national organization and regionally. CTX has a unique purpose to encourage professional growth and development among Hispanic/Latino local government employees and offers members an advantage to connect and strengthen regional networks.
Develop networks and build relationships within your organization and the central Texas region.
Participate in a variety of professional development and educational opportunities to expand your knowledge base and enhance your local government career, especially in serving Hispanic populations.
Coming summer 2023! Stay tuned!
Through CTX, members will be able to access a regional directory and the national LGHN directory to seamless connect and communicate with other Hispanic local government professionals.
CTX is committed to establishing a mentorship program similar to LGHN’s Padrinos/Madrinas Program with a regional emphasis.
