Hispanic Heritage Month Latinos in Florida Local Government (LFLG) Networking Reception hosted by Broward County
Evening of celebration and networking that highlighted the rich tapestry that makes up the Hispanic community in South Florida and allowed attendees to experience our culture using sights, sounds, and taste. Over 200 participants had the opportunity to meet other local government professionals, sponsors, and partners to learn more about the educational and advocacy objectives of the Latinos in Florida Local Government and Local Government Hispanic Network (affiliate of ICMA). The featured presentation for the evening was a fireside chat with Monica Cepero, Broward County CEO and Administrator of the 17th largest county in the United States and first Hispanic woman to ever hold this position.
