The LGHN Central Texas Chapter kicked off its inaugural networking event on April 27, 2023, at the City of San Antonio Central Library in the Latino Collection & Resource Center. The event gathered public service professionals spearheading public policy in Central Texas and newcomers who are excited to get involved and pursue professional development and career opportunities. We heard from the LGHN CTX board members, President, City of San Antonio Assistant City Manager Alejandra “Alex” Lopez, Vice President, City of Austin, Deputy Director of the Austin Convention Center Rolando Fernandez, and San Antonio City Manager Erik Walsh.
